Purpose: To provide stain protection for tile and porous grout.
Desired look: No sheen, natural look; Use Aqua Mix “Sealer’s Choice Gold”
for maximum stain resistance.
Procedure:
1. Allow new installations to cure a minimum 48 hours before sealer application.
2. Insure that floor is clean and dry.
3. Apply two applications of sealer using sponge mop or paint pad applicator, allowing
a minimum of 30 minutes between applications.
4. Polish dry any sealer residue remaining on surface within five minutes of each
application.
5. Surface is ready for use one hour after final application. Keep dry for at least
10 hours.
Desired Look: High sheen finish (Interior areas only); Use Aqua Mix “High Gloss
Sealer”
Procedure:
1. Allow new installations to cure a minimum of 48 hours before sealer application.
2. Insure floor is clean and dry.
3. Apply 2-3 applications of sealer using sponge mop or paint pad applicator, allowing
a minimum of 30 minutes between applications. Insure that surface is dry to the
touch and not tacky before subsequent application is applied.
4. Allow at least two hours dry time after final coat before light traffic is allowed.
5. Keep surface dry for at least 24 hours.
6. Use neutral ph cleaners such as Aqua Mix “Concentrated Stone & Tile Cleaner”
for ongoing maintenance as high ph (alkaline) cleaners will remove finish.
7. Re-apply a coat of “High Gloss Sealer” as needed.
